Position Summary:

In this role you will join Entegris Microanalysis team which is developing a method to count and identify unknown nanoparticles in DIW and ultra-clean aqueous samples a major challenge in the semiconductor industry. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge analytical instruments and contribute to method development and routine analytical services.

What Youll Do:

Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers.

Develop and iterate upon test methodologies.

Discuss test results and suggest future project directions.

Support routine analytical services by analyzing samples from other teams.

Become proficient in advanced analytical tools including:

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)

Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS)

Confocal 3D Fluorescence Microscope

Microscope FTIR

What We Seek:

• Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques.

• Strong data analysis and organizational skills.

• Knowledge in analytical or organic chemistry or digital imaging analysis.

• Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Majors: Chemistry Materials Science Chemical Engineering Computer Science
Graduation Year: Graduation May 2026 or later

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time the intern will work in the cleanroom and operating a variety of microscopes.

• Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September.

Compensation: $20-$32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on graduation year and candidate skillset
