Position Summary:
Clark Bros. Inc. (CBI) is seeking a highly detail-oriented professional with experience in Payroll Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll compliance. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to California Prevailing Wage laws Federal Davis-Bacon requirements and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive organized and confident working with project teams and subcontractors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 150 union and nonunion employees.
  • Review certified payroll reports from subcontractors for compliance with both project requirements and federal state and local requirements.
  • Prepare accurate in-house certified payroll reports using Sage100 Contractor
  • Submit certified payroll reports to various compliance programs including the DIR LCP Tracker etc.
  • Prepare Pre-job compliance documents including DAS 140 and DAS 142.
  • Advise project managers on wage compliance matters including subcontractor requirements and documentation.
  • Communicate directly with subcontractors as needed to ensure understanding of project specific reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with third-party compliance firms respond to payroll RFIs and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine project audits to resolve noncompliance issues and identify potential exposure risk.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-3:30pm

Compensation: $28 - $30/hour
