JOB Field Service Engineer
LOCATION London
TERM Permanent
SALARY(dependent on experience)
My client is a reputable independent company which services and installs custom Mechanical and Electrical equipment. They are looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join their team working in the South on a permanent basis and are offering a competitive package.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experienced with mechanical service and installation
- Knowledge of industrial water equipment pumps motors pressure equipment or similar would be beneficial
- Ideally have some experience working with heavy-duty machinery cherry pickers scissor lifts
- An Electrical or Mechanical qualification background would be ideal
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be happy to travel and work outside
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites in the South to service and install bespoke mechanical and electrical equipment
- Working to risk assessments and safety regulations
- Travelling to supervise the installation of the company sites
- Repair planned maintenance commissioning and handover communicating with both colleagues and customers
- 80% servicing & Maintenance / 20% Installation/Commissioning
