Albert Bow have partnered with a leading global trading firm who are seeking a Senior C Developer to join its trading systems team. This firm operates on major exchanges worldwide and is a top player in the HFT market making and liquidity provision. Responsibilities

• Work closely with Quant Researchers to develop and optimise trading systems across various markets.
• This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills deep technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3 years of professional experience as a C developer.
• Strong proficiency in modern C (C17 and newer).
• Deep understanding of computer systems including operating systems networks and performance optimisation.
• Expertise in Linux.
• Experience working with complex architecture and high-load systems.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• A strong desire to learn and share knowledge with the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing low-latency trading systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of network stack (L1 L2 TCP UDP).
• Understanding of modern x86-x64 architecture.
• Experience in competitive programming contests (e.g. IOI ICPC HashCode) or CTF challenges.
