Job Summary

A successful and oversubscribed 1118 secondary school on the outskirts of Bristol is seeking an experienced Senior School Administrator to join its established support team. The Role
As Senior Administrator you will provide high-level administrative support across multiple areas of the schools operations working closely with senior leaders pastoral teams and teaching staff. You will act as a senior point of contact within the main office and take responsibility for key processes that ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

The role is varied and requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and a calm professional presence.

Key responsibilities include:
Acting as deputy to the Office Manager when required
Coordinating admissions paperwork and liaising with feeder primaries
Managing student data using the schools MIS system (Arbor or equivalent)
Producing reports on attendance behaviour and assessment data
Supporting exam entries and internal assessment administration
Drafting formal correspondence for senior leaders
Coordinating school events such as parents evenings and open evenings
Maintaining accurate safeguarding and compliance records
Providing frontline reception cover when needed

Previous experience in a school administrative setting
Confidence using MIS systems such as Arbor SIMS or Bromcom
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional discretion and understanding of safeguarding requirements
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
