As an Art and Photography Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons fostering creativity and preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Art and Photography lessons across Key Stages 35.
Designing projects that develop practical skills creative thinking and conceptual understanding.
Preparing students for assessment including GCSE A-Level and portfolio submissions.
Providing constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
Maintaining safe and organised studio spaces including darkroom and digital photography areas.
Contributing to curriculum development departmental planning and resource management.
Supporting extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and photography competitions.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Art and Photography.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures for studio and photographic equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
