Job Summary
An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Coventry is seeking a skilled and motivated Design & Technology Teacher to join their thriving Technology department. This is a full-time role starting ASAP and is open to both experienced practitioners and ECTs eager to develop within a well-supported environment.

The Role
You will teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Specialisms in Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering or Graphics are all welcomed.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging practical and theory-based DT lessons
Preparing students for GCSE coursework and examinations
Maintaining workshop safety and high health & safety standards
Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities
Supporting extracurricular clubs or STEM initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge within Design & Technology
Excellent classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and high expectations
Ability to inspire creativity innovation and problem-solving
