Pay: $2221.20/week (plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Akron OH on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The ideal candidate is experienced in MS/Tele nursing adaptable in diverse clinical environments and committed to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications IV fluids and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans disease management and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
• Follow infection control standards safety protocols and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Ohio (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 12 years of recent MS/Tele nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong critical thinking communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
