About the job:

Based in Naples you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATOs Digital Endeavour. You will join NCIA CIS Support Unit (CSU) Naples located in Naples (ITA) which enables end-to-end CIS services as it installs operates maintains and supports the full range of CIS capabilities during peacetime crisis and war throughout its allocated Area of Responsibility (AOR) and as otherwise directed. One of the three main datacentres in NATO is hosted in Naples resourced by the relevant Business Area and supported by the CSU.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Logistician who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Requisitions storage receipt & distribution exchange of equipment;

  • Stock management disposal and property accountability for ICT/non-ICT assets in accordance with NCIA policy including local policy;

  • Conduct the annual inventory inspections and equipment discrepancies investigations in accordance with NCIA directives;

  • Provide data for the asset management reports;

  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure the correct ICT/non-ICT equipment is requested to satisfy the users requirement;

  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with all stakeholders and other Agency support staff to ensure full compliance with all relevant processes and procedures and contribute to an atmosphere of mutual respect personal accountability and professional support.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 3 years post-related experience;

  • 1-3 years experience in Supply Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
