Full-time position available starting June 2026

Bishop Ireton Catholic High School of Alexandria VA seeks a detail-oriented student-centered Registrar to serve as a key member of the counseling and academic team. Rooted in our Catholic identity and committed to forming young people in faith knowledge and service Bishop Ireton educates the whole personmind body and spirit.

The Registrar is responsible for the accurate management of student academic records supporting the academic mission of the school through precise reporting compliance and collaboration. This role requires both technical expertise with the school portal and college & career software as well as a warm professional presence when working with students families faculty and external institutions.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and safeguard all official student academic records including transcripts grades schedules and graduation requirements
  • Maintain academic record updates in collaboration with the Academic Office and Counseling Department
  • Prepare and transmit transcripts report cards and academic documentation for colleges scholarship programs and other institutions
  • Ensure compliance with diocesan state and accreditation requirements related to student records and reporting
  • Manage cumulative records for current students and alumni in accordance with privacy and retention policies
  • Support graduation processes including verification of credits honors and diplomas
  • Utilize and maintain the schools Student Information System and College-Career Software with accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with Admissions Counseling and Administration on enrollment data and reporting needs
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for families and students regarding academic records and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Experience as a registrar or in academic records management preferred
  • High level of accuracy organization and attention to detail
  • Strong technological skills and experience with Student Information Systems
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
