Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lisburn (with regular UK / Ireland travel)

We are hiring for our client a specialist interior and refurbishment contractor who has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-end luxury projects in the hospitality commercial residential and retail sectors. As they continue to grow they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Lisburn.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional looking to grow within a people-orientated company. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in managing projects controlling costs and ensuring successful project delivery.

The Role:

Manage all aspects of project commercial activities
Prepare documentation for sub-contractors to price obtaining and reviewing quotes
Review analyse negotiate and procure sub-contract packages
Control changes and variations including site measurement and cost control reporting
Build and enhance professional relationships with clients and subcontractors
Ensure compliance and economic benefit through communication and technical support
Work collaboratively to deliver projects on time and within budget

The Person:

2 years post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying
Preferably experienced in fitout / main contractor
Degree-level qualification preferred
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in IT with a proactive attitude and strong time management skills
