Reports to: Foreman (General Manager if Foreman position unfilled)
Salary Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Summary/Objective: Serves as the primary liaison between Foreman and production employees to ensure accomplishment of all assigned work. Supervises assigned crew to ensure work is accomplished to specified requirements and in accordance with all company and contractual procedures.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Works with Foreman to resourcing requirements are understood
- Supervises and ensures assigned crew accomplishes daily task and is prepared for next day task. Ensures crew assigned comply with all company and contractual requirements.
- Interfaces with QA and EHS department to ensure requirements are achieved.
- Assist Foreman as needed in work planning.
- Other related duties as assigned by Foreman

Education / Experience Required:
- Demonstrated expertise within applicable trade.
- Understand the Naval Ship Repair requirements and working environment
- Proficiency in standard office computer software
- Must be able to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid California drivers license.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week. M-F(or as otherwise assigned by General Manager) with pre-scheduled overtime as needed.
Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment and shipyard work environment.
Travel: This position does require ability to travel.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be available to work at heights confined spaces and have ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes.
May involve carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs. frequent stooping bending crawling reaching and walking.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
- Passing a drug test and physical examination
- Eligibility to work in the US.
- Obtaining DBIDS level security clearance.
- OSHA 10 Maritime
