About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City byleading the efficient customerfocused operation of our multistorey and permit car parks. Youll guide a dedicated team ensure smooth daily operations oversee highquality service at customer counters and drive continuous improvements in how we manage parking services across the city.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Lead the Car Park Operations team to ensure strong performance and compliance with legislation.
  • Review and improve operational guidelines policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily physical financial and mechanical operations of multistorey and permit car parks.
  • Support staff through coaching training performance reviews and when needed disciplinary actions.
  • Contribute to annual planning and budgeting for parking services.
  • Work closely with the Manager Parking Services to ensure clear communication across parking teams.
  • Build a professional customerfocused team of Parking Officers.

About you

You bring strong leadership experience sound judgement and the ability to work confidently within legislation and policy frameworks. You are skilled at guiding teams in an enforcement environment resolving conflicts preparing accurate reports and making informed decisions in challenging situations. Your communication professionalism and commitment to high performance help you support both your team and the community.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Diploma level or higher qualification in Business or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent experience in a customer/client service leadership role.
  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Current Driver license

  • Implement Traffic Management Plans
  • Chief Fire Warden
  • Provide First Aid
