Tasks
Construction Management & Project Control
- Independent management of construction projects in structural engineering
- Organization and coordination of construction processes on the construction site
- Management of subcontractors foremen and commercial staff
- Ensuring adherence to deadlines costs and quality targets
- Conducting construction meetings and coordinating with all project stakeholders
Economic efficiency & documentation
- Measurement invoicing and performance reports
- Change order management and claim handling
- Construction site documentation and reporting
- Participation in cost calculation and work preparation
- Control of material and equipment usage
Communication & Collaboration
- Coordination with clients authorities planners and internal specialist departments
- Coordination of suppliers and external partners
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations
Additionally depending on experience level
- Management of construction managers or project teams
- Responsibility for multiple construction phases or entire projects
- Overall economic responsibility for complex construction projects
- Strategic project management and project optimization
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering or comparable qualification (e.g. construction technician or master craftsman with construction management experience)
- Experience in engineering bridge infrastructure or road construction
- Experience in construction management project execution or construction supervision
- Knowledge of VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) construction contract law and construction site organization is an advantage
- Confident demeanor towards clients and project partners
- German language skills for construction site communication
