Pay: $2181.60/week (plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Tucson AZ on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The ideal candidate has solid telemetry experience thrives in fast-paced hospital environments and is committed to delivering compassionate evidence-based patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer prescribed medications IV fluids and treatments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families on health conditions treatment regimens and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient assessments interventions and progress in the medical record.
- Follow infection control standards safety protocols and evidence-based nursing practices.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in Arizona (or compact eligibility).
- Minimum 12 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong critical thinking communication and clinical assessment skills.
- Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
