Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in a Level III Trauma Center utilizing appropriate imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures in OR ER portable and general radiology settings.
Position patients appropriately and adjust technical factors to obtain optimal images.
Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
Maintain radiation safety practices in accordance with ALARA principles.
Ensure proper documentation and image transfer within PACS/RIS systems.
Provide safe compassionate and professional patient care.

Requirements
Minimum 6 months of Radiologic Technologist experience.
Must be proficient in OR ER portable imaging and general radiography.
Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center preferred.
Strong reliability dependability and excellent patient care skills required.

Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certifications
ARRT (R) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiography).
Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
Healthcare Provider BLS.

License: Active ARRT registration (CT registry required or registry-eligible per facility requirement).
