Job Summary

Responsibilities: You are the Technical Product Owner for Power BI at Daimler Truck. Lead the development and implementation of Power BI solutions to meet business requirements and objectives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements ensuring alignment with business goals. Define and manage the product roadmap for Power BI initiatives incorporating feedback and insights from stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to the development team throughout the project lifecycle ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Act as the primary point of contact for Power BI-related inquiries and issues providing timely resolution and support. Skills: Expertise in working with Power BI Desktop to create intuitive data visualizations including charts graphs maps and other interactive elements to effectively communicate insights. Proficiency in designing efficient and scalable data models within Power BI including relationships calculated columns measures and hierarchies. Strong command over DAX Strong knowledge of SQL Understanding of ETL processes and experience with tools like Power Query/M or other data transformation techniques Familiarity with data warehousing concepts Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing security measures within Power BI to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge on Data Gateways. Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or related field AND 7 years of experience in development projects. OR Masters degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or related field AND 5 years of experience in development projects. Power BI certifications (PL-300 or DP-500 preferred). 5 years of Microsoft Power BI implementation experience. Understanding of Data security and Governance at Enterprise level including GDPR Compliance. Excellent collaboration skills- to engage with global teams and external partners. Ability to participate in problem-solving & brainstorming sessions. Additional or Preferred Qualifications: Good knowledge on Microsoft Fabric and its components. Experience in working with Power Apps. Knowledge of building bots with Copilot studio. Knowledge in Power Automate flows. Experience with DevOps pipelines & GitHub. Experience in other data analytics/data visualization tools like Qlik Analytics Tableau etc. Multi-cloud exposure. Good understanding of working with ITSM tools like Service Now.
