Position overview:

The primary duty of the supplier quality engineer is to review and assess the supplier quality the component PPAP and the conformity of received material.

Monitor the suppliers action plan and confirm its effectiveness

Promote CI culture & propose ideas with value added.

Your missions (but may not be limited to):

  • Put in place the incoming organization and the components inspection.
  • Monitor the supplier claims (Investigation G8D effectiveness...)
  • Ensure the components PPAP approval.
  • Conduct the Fit and Function of the new components.
  • Ensure compliance with component supplier recommendations.
  • Audit the component warehouses picking area and trucks.
  • Monitor the component shelf life and the storage conditions.
  • Monitor the supplier component change.
  • Identify the worst suppliers and follow the effectiveness of their action plan.
  • Comply with internal and corporate procedures.
  • Participate on the control plan and PFMEA elaboration and Ensure the execution of the control plan.
  • Ensure the usage of problem-solving methodologies and the quality tools by the suppliers
  • Ensure accurate reporting of the quality KPIs.
  • Meet the customer objectives and satisfy their requirements and audits.
  • Coach and develop the quality team under your responsibility & support them in the execution of the daily tasks.

To be successful for this role:

  • Bac5 minimum with experience in automotive wiring Industry (Minimum 2 Years in quality)
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem solving (G8D 5Whys Ishikawa Is/Is not...).
  • Demonstrated capability to read interpret the specifications requirements and drawings.
  • Attentive to detail in all aspects.
