Location: New York NY 10029
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Shift: Nights 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour
Assignment Type: Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex testing in a hospital laboratory setting. The ideal candidate has experience in chemistry and hematology and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing in Chemistry and Hematology
Review and verify test results for accuracy
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Follow safety and regulatory guidelines
Enter and document results in the Laboratory Information System
Work closely with healthcare teams to support patient care
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
Associates Degree in Laboratory Technology (accredited program)
Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (NYSED)
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
BLS certification
Prior hospital laboratory experience
