Summary:

• Design develop test and maintain embedded software across the full lifecycle in compliance with industry customer safety and regulatory standards

• Review analyze and translate customer requirements into software designs

• Develop enhance and optimize software products for system integration

• Develop and maintain architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and detailed designs

• Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability efficiency and performance

• Troubleshoot technical issues respond to user inquiries and analyze user feedback

• Implement current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and regulatory updates

• Develop monitor and improve software processes tools and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals

• Execute and document software research and development activities

• Provide guidance on software domains system-specific issues processes and regulations

• Perform software project management and supplier coordination activities

• Track and evaluate team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (not required at time of hire).

• Typically acquired through advanced technical education (Bachelors degree or higher) in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or Chemistry and 5 years of related work experience.

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience (e.g. Masters degree 3 years PhD) will be considered.

• In the United States ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

• 5 years of professional experience across the software development lifecycle including design development integration verification troubleshooting process/tool deployment and supplier/project coordination

• Experience in Agile software development environments and workflow tools (e.g. VS Code GitLab)

• Experience developing embedded real-time software with Ada (required) and/or C C Java Python or Rust

• Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)

• Strong understanding of hardware/software integration and system safety principles

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
