We are seeking compassionate reliable and dedicated Caregivers/Helpers to provide non-medical in-home support to clients in a respectful and professional manner. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient attentive and committed to enhancing the comfort safety and well-being of those in need of assistance at home.
Position Overview
As a Caregiver/Helper you will assist clients with daily living activities light household tasks companionship and mobility support based on individual care needs. Assignments may vary from short shifts to ongoing schedules depending on client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing bathing and grooming (as needed)
- Prepare meals and assist with light meal planning
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry tidying dishes basic cleaning)
- Support mobility transfers and walking assistance
- Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
- Assist with errands and transportation (if applicable)
- Maintain a safe clean and supportive home environment
- Observe and report any changes in the clients condition or needs
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving home care or personal assistance experience preferred
- Compassionate patient and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care instructions and maintain professionalism
- Reliable transportation (for applicable cases)
Preferred Skills (Not Always Required)
- Experience working with seniors dementia mobility limitations or post-rehabilitation clients
- Basic knowledge of safety fall prevention and personal care assistance
- CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
