Job Summary
Virginia Wesleyan University a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference is accepting applications for a Womens Lacrosse Graduate Assistant. Virginia Wesleyan is located in Virginia Beach VA and sponsors 24 varsity sports teams supporting almost 500 student-athletes.
The qualified applicant will report to the Head Womens Lacrosse Coach. The individual will assist with all aspects of the Womens Lacrosse program including recruitment of quality student-athletes scheduling managing and coaching games planning as well as conducting practices. This individual will also be organizing team travel monitoring student-athletes academic progress equipment maintenance fundraising and other administrative duties assigned by the Head Coach. Additionally a thorough understanding of and accountability to NCAA Old Dominion Athletic Conference and institutional rules and regulations is necessary.
Review of applications will begin immediately. This is a graduate assistant position. A Bachelors degree is required. Tuition remission for graduate programs is included as well as a stipend. Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience and/or experience as a college lacrosse student-athlete. Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by the colleges auto insurance carrier.
