Job Summary
Job Summary
Operates a wide variety of heavy equipment vehicles that perform the spreading and compaction of construction demolition soil remediation commercial and residential waste disposed at the post collection facilities and/or particular job sites. Heavy Equipment Operators work closely with other team members and follow safety protocols to ensure efficient project completion while minimizing risks.
Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am - 5 on / 3 off
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and minor preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
- Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- No education required
- must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Capable of operating this equipment: - Skid steer tractor mini etc.)
- Valid drivers license

- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding machine operation etc.) most of the work day;
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally;
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts burns exposure to toxic chemicals etc.) rarely;
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt odors noise weather extremes or similar elements most of the work day;
Field: This job operates in both inside garage shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather heat and humidity.
