Job Summary
Are you the type of person who enjoys providing a high-level of customer service Then Spitzer Management of Elyria wants YOU as we continue to build a team of dedicated professionals striving to learn grow and achieve more! The Used Car Buyer will use Spitzer Autoworld guidelines and metrics to appraise used vehicles located trough a variety of resources and coordinate withe Service Departments for repairas; as well as assist other locations with their inventory needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands and/or learns Vauto appraising system
- Learn and apply Spitzers guidelines and metrics when appraising all vehicles
- Must have knowledge of used car values market conditions and auctions
- Accounts for accurate reconditioning dollars and freight charges
- Flexibility utilizing a multitude of resources for acquiring cars
- Mindfulness of profit with creative thinking an ability to plan and reach goals
- Ability to make knowledgeable good decisions
- Ability to multitask and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel to generate reports and update the administrator on the arrival times of purchased vehicles
- Must be willing to efficiently effectively and repeatedly communicate the status of purchases and keep all necessary parties updated
- Works with Service Department to coordinate service work on purchased cars
- Occasionally will work with General Managers and/or Sales Managers at other stores to discuss trace values at the door or to work on fulfilling their needs for inventory
- Works well in a team with positive professional communication to create a positive culture
- Passionate about automobiles
- Performs other related duties as assigned
