Raytheon has an opportunity for an energetic and motivated internin the Raytheon Vision SystemsEngineeringteam. An internship with Raytheon Vision Systems Engineering will allow for broad exposure to both senior leadership and Enterprise-wide initiatives as well as learning and using Raytheons tools and resources. Engineering interns at Raytheon may be placed in Test Engineering Systems Engineering orManufacturing Engineering. Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a summer intern to support the Engineering Department.

The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment having not only academic but also interpersonal skills to helpoptimizeour teams. Additionally the candidate shouldpossessan inquisitive nature anda strong desireto learn real world applications to complement their academic experience.

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelors (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum entering their Junior Senior or Post Graduatestanding level by the start of Summer 2026as outlined below.

(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship

(Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship

(Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

You will support integration verification and validation design verification testing and production testing to support the delivery of EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems.

You will develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds.

You will develop and exercise good engineering judgement and technical decision making inside the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities organization

You will provide technical support to production/development related activities

Contribute to trade studies and present results to stakeholders

Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers

Basic Qualifications:

Must be pursuinga BS (or higher) degree inScience Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).

Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering Software or Firmware development Systems Integration and/or Test ASIC development Cybersecurity System Security Digital Electronicsdesignor similar work history.

The ability to obtain andmaintaina US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship isrequiredas only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Specific majors: Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an ABET Including specific majors: Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering Mechanical Engineering Engineering Mechanics Computer Science Software Engineering Physics Math Engineering Science Robotics or related scientific or STEM discipline

3.00 cumulative GPArequired

Matlaband/or C experience

Ability to analyze issues and define solutions

Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle

Strong communicationskills including effectivewritten verbal and listening skills

The salary range for this role is 42000 USD - 88000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
