Physiotherapy Assistant

Full-time Specified Purpose 12 Month Contract 39 hrs per week

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We treat more than 200000 patients annually. We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to work within the Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy Team.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Hold a FETAC level 5 Healthcare Support Award or Physiotherapy Assistant Award or Athletic & RehabilitationTherapy Qualification
• Experience in Healthcare or other caring environment.
• Will have obtained a pass in 6 subjects in the Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Have a keen interest and experience in working with patients especially in the area of rehabilitation
• Possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Be flexible and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Be innovative enthusiastic and self motivated
• Have an excellent standard of English both written and verbal
• Roster may include one evening and Sat morning Tue- Sat roster
