Job Summary
Set-Up Technician
ICON Injection Molding Inc.
What Youll Do
As a Set-Up Technician youll prepare plastic injection molding machines for production. This means installing and removing molds getting machines ready to run and helping keep production moving safely and on schedule. Youll work closely with technicians and maintenance staff on the production floor.
Daily Tasks
Install and remove molds from molding machines
Move molds using a crane hoist or forklift
Connect water lines oil lines and other mold components
Start up machines (like turning on temperatures)
Respond to machine alarms and help troubleshoot issues
Set up tables equipment and work areas for jobs
Use hand tools like wrenches and ratchets
Keep tools and work areas organized
Help technicians and assist with basic cleaning or production tasks
What You Need
Mechanical ability or experience using hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
Helpful but not required:
Injection molding or machine setup experience
Forklift experience or certification
