The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving sales profitability and customer engagement at the branch level with a primary focus on Fixed Deposits & Life Insurance addition to this also cross selling other products like General Insurance Motor Insurance and Mutual Funds. The role involves managing sales teams building customer relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve branch business targets across all product lines with a strong focus on Life Insurance.
Lead mentor and motivate branch staff and advisors to deliver sustained performance.
Drive cross-selling initiatives and portfolio diversification as per defined allocation.
Ensure adherence to IRDAI AMFI and internal compliance guidelines.
Monitor persistency renewals and customer satisfaction at the branch level.
Prepare MIS reports and contribute to strategic planning for the region.
Recruit and Train the team of BDE & BDM.
Requirements
Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance Marketing or related field.
47 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance/Banking/Financial Services.
12 years in a managerial role with team management exposure.
Relevant certifications (IRDAI AMFI/NISM) would be helpful & relevant.
Key Competencies
Strong business acumen and result orientation.
Leadership and people development skills.
Excellent customer engagement and cross-selling ability.
Compliance and risk management orientation.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables formulas charts). Excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint. Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Time and Motion Study Process Qualification - MBA in Analytics/Operation or related field
