Requirements

What Youll Do L2 Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware software and networking issues escalated from L1 support

  • Install configure and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10/11)

  • Provide hands-on support for desktops laptops printers mobile devices and network/datacenter equipment

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)

  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory Exchange mailboxes and distribution groups

  • Support remote connectivity tools (SMS Bomgar WebEx Teams RDP)

  • Assist end-users with mobile device setup activations and performance issues (iOS Android Blackberry)

  • Deploy Windows images using SCCM and manage software updates

  • Provide support for A/V equipment and conference room setups

  • Maintain documentation of issues solutions and system configurations

  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary


Qualifications

  • 24 years hands-on experience in L2 Technical Support IT Desktop or Onsite support

  • Strong experience with Windows operating systems (7/10/11) and troubleshooting

  • Hands-on experience with desktops laptops printers mobile devices and network hardware

  • Knowledge of Active Directory Exchange and Microsoft Office troubleshooting

  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems

  • Basic knowledge of audio/video equipment and conference room setups

  • Strong problem-solving troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
