Project Manager
Toronto - Hybrid (4 days WFO)
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (10 Years Experience)
Lead endtoend project delivery including planning execution monitoring and closure in alignment with PMO governance standards.
Own project timeline scope budget RAID logs and stakeholder communication.
Oversee task assignments workload balancing and coordination across delivery teams.
Manage vendor relationships and crossfunctional engagements.
Prepare and present dashboards Steering Committee updates and executivelevel reports.
Ensure alignment with Product Owners SMEs QA Development and Operations teams.
Business Analysis (5 Years Experience)
Requirements & Analysis
Conduct detailed requirementgathering sessions through workshops interviews and walkthroughs. (MUST HAVE)
Perform comprehensive impact analysis of production issues identifying risks root causes and business impacts from a domain perspective. (MUST HAVE)
Develop key documentation including BRDs FRDs process maps user stories and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Product Owners to write and refine Jira stories while maintaining a clean wellprioritized backlog. (MUST HAVE)
Support solution design discussions and document futurestate workflows.
Analyze and validate data using SQL (basic to intermediate skill level). (GOOD TO HAVE)
Agile Delivery & Execution
Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies: standups sprint planning backlog grooming reviews and retrospectives. (MUST HAVE)
Coordinate sprint execution and ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to drive iterative delivery.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming issues enhancements and requirement discussions. (MUST HAVE)
Facilitate clear and consistent communication between business stakeholders development teams QA and leadership.
Manage stakeholder expectations navigate conflicts and ensure transparency across teams.
Offshore Coordination
Collaborate daily with offshore development and QA teams to ensure clarity of requirements and timely delivery. (MUST HAVE)
Provide walkthroughs clarify user stories and track offshore progress.
Align schedules and maintain smooth crossborder communication.
Domain Expertise Wealth Management & Capital Markets
Demonstrate strong understanding of Wealth Management and Capital Markets including products processes client journeys and regulatory considerations. (MUST HAVE)
Evaluate issues and requirements through a domainfirst lens.
Experience with financial platforms trading systems portfolio management tools or similar systems is an asset.
Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
