Senior Software Quality Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Owning the full quality assurance lifecycle across all products.
  
• Designing and executing structured test plans based on business and system requirements.
  
• Translating user stories and acceptance criteria into detailed test scenarios.
  
• Detecting functional logical edge-case and regression issues before release.
  
• Validating complex workflows across multi-role systems.
  
• Ensuring system behavior aligns precisely with documented requirements.
  
• Collaborating closely with Product Analysts and Engineering to clarify ambiguities before testing.
  
• Designing and maintaining regression test suites.
  
• Identifying recurring issue patterns and improving development quality standards.
  
• Using AI tools to accelerate test case creation edge-case discovery and coverage expansion.
  
• Recommending automation strategies where applicable.
  
• Acting as the final quality gate before production deployment.
  

Requirements

What Makes You a True Senior (Required)

• 8 years of experience in software testing within production environments.
  
• Proven experience testing complex systems (B2B platforms CRM systems multi-role applications workflow-heavy platforms).
  
• Strong understanding of functional regression integration and system testing.
  
• Ability to think in edge cases and system states not just happy paths.
  
• Experience creating structured test plans and documentation.
  
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to identify logical inconsistencies.
  
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams in Agile environments.
  
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  
• High ownership mindset you are accountable for what reaches production.
  
• Strong written communication and defect reporting clarity.
  

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with test automation frameworks and modern tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar).
  
• Experience testing multi-tenant systems and role-based access models.
  
• Experience with integration testing and API testing tools (Postman REST clients automated API frameworks).
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
  
• Experience working in fast-scaling environments.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) beyond surface-level rituals.
  
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
