We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team part-time. This role is essential to our mission providing therapy crisis support and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Grace Harbour you will provide direct and indirect client care services in an outpatient behavioral health setting located in Newnan GA.
Location: Newnan GA
Compensation: $25.02 - $28.40
*Final compensation is determined by factors such as education licensure level experience and other qualifications.

Essential Duties:
Conduct nursing assessments for individuals receiving behavioral health services including documentation of vitals medical history allergies side effects and physical health needs.
Collaborate with prescribing providers (psychiatrists/NPs) to assist with medication administration education and monitoring of efficacy and side effects.
Perform injections and administer prescribed medications per physician orders and nursing scope.
Provide psychoeducation to clients and families on medications self-care chronic disease management and wellness strategies.
Monitor document and report client symptoms and changes in behavior or health status to the clinical team.
Licensure: Current unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health psychiatric or community health setting (preferred).
Knowledge of:
Psychiatric nursing principles
Psychotropic medications and side effects
Trauma-informed care practices
DBHDD standards of care and documentation requirements
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication and can work within a team setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
Competent use of electronic health records (EHRs)
Critical thinking and de-escalation skill
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a DBHDD-contracted or state-funded program
Knowledge of ASO (e.g. CareSource Amerigroup) documentation and billing practices
Certification in CPR First Aid and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Bilingual or bicultural competency
