Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care throughout all phases of endoscopic procedures including pre-procedure preparation intra-procedure assistance and post-procedure recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure nursing care for endoscopy patients
Assist physicians during specialized procedures such as ERCP and EBUS
Monitor patient status including vital signs and sedation recovery
Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintain a safe sterile and compliant procedural environment
Educate patients and families regarding procedure preparation and post-procedure care
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as required

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience in an acute care hospital setting
Hands-on experience with ERCP EBUS and advanced endoscopic procedures
Strong assessment critical-thinking and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
