Shl IT Access Control Technician

Overview

The Stronghold Companies is seeking anIT Access Control Technicianto support user provisioning account administration and access management across our enterprise systems. This role ensures employees have the correct access to applications network resources and Microsoft services while maintaining accuracy security and compliance.

This is ahybrid rolebased in theLa Porte/Pasadena TX area.

Essential Functions

1. Create modify and deactivateuser accountsinActive Directory
2. Managesecurity groups distribution lists and shared mailboxesin AD and Exchange Admin Center
3. Maintainnetwork folder permissionsand respond to access requests
4. Provision access forbusiness applications and IT systemsbased on approved processes
5. Supportonboarding and offboardingwith correct access setup and removal
6. Handlebasic troubleshootingfor access and login issues
7. Assist with documentation and support foraudit and compliance reviews
8. Work closely with IT HR and department managers to ensure timely access setup

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of the job an IT Access Control Technician is occasionally required to bend stoop walk climb squat reach kneel push/pull stand sit and lift up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

• 13 years of IT experience ideally in access administration or help desk
• Working knowledge ofActive DirectoryExchange Admin Center and user provisioning
• Understanding ofnetwork folder permissionsand application access
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams

Preferred Education and Experience

• Exposure toERP or enterprise applications(e.g. Dynamics Coupa etc.)
• Familiarity withIT compliance access reviews or audit processes
• Interest in growing skills in identity governance and automation
