Job Summary
At Vertiv we install maintain and commission DC Power systems for a variety of clients across the UK & Ireland. As part of DC team you will assist with the ownership of all aspects of service and maintenance delivery as defined by the Customer and Contract documentation across the customer base. You will also be required to visit sites throughout the UK and possibly Europe. You may occasionally be required to assist or lead a team during the installation of new DC Power systems. You will encourage and promote Service excellence.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Carrying out planned PMV on Vertiv/Emerson 48v DC Power systems across multiple Telco customers.
2. Assist with the resolution of technical issues whether remotely or onsite on our Vertiv DC Power Systems.
3. Carrying out assisting with new 48v DC Installs / commissioning.
4. After a probation period joining and covering on-call rota 1-7 weeks for DC and Low Power UPS.
5. Once trained on 380v HVDC system carrying out maintenance and support across multiple customers premises.
6. Assisting when required on battery builds replacements and testing of UPS systems.
7. To carry out the completion of post work paperwork and documentation on new DC power systems and maintenance visits.
8. Mobile data centres Maintenance and callout.

EXPERIENCE:
1. Have previous experience of 48v DC and low power UPS is an advantage.
2. Have electrical qualifications to 18th Edition is desirable.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
4. Working as part of a team and lone working.
5. Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
6. Valid ECS and first Aid desirable.
7. Full Driving licence.
