Emergency Veterinarian Queens NY

A well-established emergency and specialty veterinary facility is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its clinical team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality urgent and critical care in a fast-paced collaborative environment supported by experienced medical staff and advanced diagnostic resources.

Key Responsibilities

Provide medical evaluation diagnosis and treatment for companion animals presenting with urgent medical conditions
Perform medical procedures and case management in accordance with current veterinary standards
Communicate treatment plans recommendations and follow-up care clearly to pet owners
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and medical protocols
Collaborate with technicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and high standards of care

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Active veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical decision-making communication and patient-care skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced clinical environment
