Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in production planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects from concept to production and make a significant impact on our companys growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems components and products using SolidWorks and other CAD software
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models drawings and specifications for manufacturing
- Conduct engineering calculations and analysis to ensure product performance reliability and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers industrial designers and manufacturing specialists
- Participate in all stages of product development from concept generation to prototyping and final production
- Develop and implement production plans including process flow tooling requirements and quality control measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design and manufacturing processes
- Conduct research on new technologies materials and manufacturing techniques to improve product performance and reduce costs
- Prepare technical reports presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing processes
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related fields
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering product design or related roles
- Proficiency in SolidWorks with experience in 3D modeling assembly and 2D drafting
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience in production planning and familiarity with manufacturing techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
