Job Summary

ey Responsibilities

Review and analyze customer RFQs to determine scope materials labor and technical requirements

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and proposals

Process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures

Source and obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors for purchased items

Evaluate vendor pricing lead times and technical compliance

Procure all necessary materials components and services required for assigned jobs

Coordinate with engineering production and project management teams to ensure job requirements are clearly defined

Maintain detailed records of quotes estimates and procurement documentation

Monitor project costs and assist with cost control efforts

Support continuous improvement initiatives in estimating and procurement processes

Qualifications

5 years of experience in estimating process engineering or procurement in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong understanding of RFQ processes vendor sourcing and purchase order management

Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and scope documents

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and negotiation abilities

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required)

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills

ECI JobBOSS2 experience

Experience in cost modeling and project budgeting

Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements

Experience working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

Military and DoD procurement is a plus
