This position will support our Cable Assembly and other assembly areas by performing the following responsibilities:
- Create and modify cable drawings and technical documentation
- Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Build and assemble electrical test fixtures for cables and related components
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly processes and test results
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to troubleshoot assembly challenges
- Assist in organizing and maintaining work areas to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications :
- Recent degree or current enrollment in an engineering program (Mechanical Electrical Manufacturing or related field)
- High GPA (3.0 or above preferred)
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to manufacturing environments
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Experience with 2D drawing and drafting using software similar to CorelDraw
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Hands-on experience with assembly fabrication or manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with engineers and technicians
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices in manufacturing settings
