The Quality Inspector & Test Technician supports production by ensuring our products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role combines inspection end-of-line testing troubleshooting and technical support to maintain production flow and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection
- Perform end of line inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed inspection and record findings in system (tablet).
- Identify defects determine root causes and collaborate with production teams on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and industry regulations.
- Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Test technician
- Serve as first point of contact for team leaders and supervisors when end-of-line test issues occur.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions during assembly and end-of-line testing.
- Analyze and interpret test data to diagnose issues and implement corrective solutions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and update work instructions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with end-of-line operators to ensure daily production targets are met.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (compressors fan motors valves condensers piping and control devices).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints refrigeration piping schematics electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills in electrical electronic and automated control systems (PLC knowledge preferred).
- Ability to detect subtle defects or non-conformances
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet networking and computer systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1-2 yrs experience as a Test Technician (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
