Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional director for our Developer Community build this role you will be responsible to:

• Build and run Workatos global developer community programs: launch and scale hundreds of local developer user groups a worldclass MVP / Champions program and university & student outreach initiatives.

• Design and maintain the supporting systems tooling and analytics that power selfservice growth.

• Recruit onboard and mentor community leaders and champions providing resources recognition and incentives to sustain longterm engagement.

• Launch ambassador and champions programs; recognize and reward top contributors.

• Design and execute community strategy across Discord GitHub Reddit X/Twitter and inperson meetups.

• Moderate online forums surface insights and route feedback to Product&Engineering.

• Build relationships within the San Francisco AI community and host events and activations in our SF hub.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

• Experience working in both a startup environment and matrixed organization.

• 5 years building and nurturing developer communities from zero to scale.

• 5 years of handson programmatic marketing including segmentation automation and lifecycle campaigns.

• Direct endtoend experience planning and executing inperson and virtual events

• Must be local to San Francisco and willing to operate in our San Francisco office

For California applicants the pay for this role begins at $190000 plus variable benefits perks and equity.
