As a Trainee Escalator Engineer you will be expected to;

• Work alongside a qualified Escalator Engineer
• Study towards completing your NVQ Level 3
• Help towards completing your Escalator NVQ
• Get involved with planning of engineering works
• Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stay away overnight as and when required
• Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship

Required Experience

• You will train towards completing your NVQ Level 3.
• You will develop all-round knowledge of escalator equipment and to the point that you can work independently and demonstrate that you can apply escalator engineering principles.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering background that wishes to pursue an interesting career with a world-renowned company. We are interested in receiving applications from candidates with a demonstrable background in Engineering (NVQS BTEC or similar) Lift/Escalator Mates / Improvers wishing to gain their NVQ Level 3.
