We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Manager of Treatment Foster Care to oversee our treatment foster care this role you will provide leadership to clinical staff service providers and staff and foster families ensuring a safe therapeutic and inclusive environment for children youth and families.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Graduate degree in social work or psychology.
- Professional designation (SASW; College of Psychologists)
Experience:
Skills & Characteristics:
- Strong leadership coaching and mentorship abilities.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Expert knowledge of treatment foster care programming and related legislation.
- Proficient in budget management and resource allocation.
- Advanced decision-making problem-solving and program development skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills with effective time management.
- Emotional intelligence and adaptability.
- Open to continuous learning and development.
- Proficient in computer and technology use.
Key Responsibilities:
Services:
- Lead treatment plan implementation and ensure the needs of program participants are met including safety healthcare and documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical professionals to maintain a therapeutic environment in foster services.
- Facilitate monthly team meetings with foster families and participate in community and agency events.
- Support the development of treatment plans for children youth and families in foster care.
- Collaborate with the Ministry of Social Services to manage referrals and monitor foster homes.
- Coordinate respite services and provide on-call emergency support as needed.
Leadership:
- Lead and support foster care parents and staff.
- Oversee recruitment management training and development of service providers.
- Ensure policies procedures and training requirements are met.
- Facilitate team meetings and evaluations providing ongoing guidance and consultation.
Resource Management:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies for foster parents.
- Manage assets and resources ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
- Provide input into budgeting and ensure expenditures align with operational plans.
- Oversee resource projections and expense reconciliations.
Safety:
- Promote and maintain safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and include health and safety in departmental plans.
Additional Requirements:
- Complete all mandatory training as per agency policies and guidelines.
