Job Description

SAP CoordinatorFranklin Park ILHIRING IMMEDIATELY

Compensation:

  • $21.43-$26.78 (per hour)

Position Overview:

The SAP Coordinator is responsible for execution readiness and SAP integrity for extrusion and thermoforming operations. This role ensures production orders labels and inventory are correct and available to support continuous 24/7 manufacturing. The role is execution-focused and accountable for system accuracy that enables safe compliant and efficient production.

Esstential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify and close production orders in SAP for extrusion and thermoforming operations to ensure accurate production reporting.
  • Review completed production orders for accuracy of quantities produced material consumption scrap reporting and labor confirmations.
  • Validate inventory transactions in SAP to ensure resin boxes regrind sheet WIP and finished goods balances accurately reflect physical production.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory variances resulting from production execution material usage or posting errors.
  • Support production execution by ensuring work orders and production documentation are complete accurate and properly closed in SAP.
  • Verify label usage and part identification information to ensure accurate production and traceability records in SAP.
  • Coordinate daily with the onsite Scheduler to review completed orders execution issues and inventory impacts from a 24/7 operation.
  • Support thermoforming operations by verifying BOM materials consumption rejects and finished goods reporting.
  • Monitor SAP inventory for negative balances abnormal adjustments or discrepancies and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts physical inventory activities and reconciliation to maintain SAP inventory accuracy.
  • Generate and review production scrap yield and inventory reports to identify execution gaps and data integrity issues.
  • Document execution issues SAP errors and recurring variances and escalate trends impacting plant performance or compliance.
  • Support plant execution standards procedures and controls to ensure consistent SAP discipline across all shifts.
  • Provide SAP transaction support and guidance to supervisors and leads to reinforce accurate and timely production reporting.
  • Develop working knowledge of SAP scheduling functions routings and BOMs to support progression into a future Scheduler role.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Finance Manufacturing Operations Business or related field preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in extrusion thermoforming or high-volume production.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP in a production or plant execution role including order confirmations and transaction review.
  • Working knowledge of production reporting scrap reporting and order closure processes in SAP.
  • Experience working with production documentation work orders and labeling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturing inventory flows including raw materials WIP and finished goods (execution-level not analytical).
  • Ability to identify SAP posting errors execution discrepancies and data integrity issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools for reviewing and validating production data.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work across multiple production lines and shifts.
  • Effective communication skills for working with supervisors leads schedulers and inventory analysts.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn SAP scheduling functions BOMs and routings as part of career progression.
