Cakum Global is recruiting a Country Manager Shipping & Logistics to lead our clients operations in Honiara Solomon Islands

About the Role:
This is a senior leadership position responsible for the end-to-end management of shipping freight forwarding transport and warehousing operations. The role requires a hands-on leader particularly within Shipping Agency operations while overseeing all other branch functions through department heads.

Key Role Highlights:

Full responsibility for branch operations and performance
Hands-on management of Shipping & Port Agency activities
Oversight of freight forwarding customs warehousing and transport
Ownership of budgets P&L and cost control
Drive sales growth and strengthen key stakeholder relationships
Lead mentor and develop local teams

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in shipping agency and logistics management
Strong leadership decision-making and commercial acumen
Solid understanding of customs port and maritime procedures
Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to challenge existing practices
Comfortable operating in complex and developing market environments
