Job Description

Summary:

Seeking an experienced crossplatform DBA to design secure and operate SQL Server/Azure SQL PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments. Role includes performance tuning automation database lifecycle management cloud/onprem migrations and maintaining strict ITAR compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Core DBA

Monitor tune and maintain database performance availability and security.

Manage backups restores and disaster recovery processes.

Automate routine operations and maintenance tasks.

Provide production support and participate in oncall rotations.

SQL Server & Azure SQL

Design and operate SQL Server/Azure SQL databases and support cloud migrations.

Handle performance tuning Agent jobs replication and patching.

PostgreSQL

Create/manage schemas indexes roles and DB objects.

Perform maintenance tuning capacity planning and issue resolution.

MongoDB

Design clusters sharding strategies and performance optimization.

Support deployments upgrades configuration and automation.

ITAR & Security Compliance

Enforce access controls RBAC encryption and auditing for ITARregulated data.

Ensure compliant backup replication migrations and data residency.

Support ITAR audits documentation and evidence collection.

Qualifications

U.S. Person (ITAR requirement).

810 years SQL Server DBA experience 4 years Azure SQL.

Strong PostgreSQL administration experience.

Strong MongoDB architecture and operations experience.

Expertise in performance tuning automation DR and production support.
