Job Summary
The Safety & Security Specialist is responsible for promoting a safe secure and welcoming environment at PPLowned and managed properties. This role focuses on preventing and responding to safety concerns mitigating environmental and physical risks and supporting residents staff and community partners through proactive presence monitoring and incident management. The specialist ensures PPL maintains the highest standards of safety and security across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Strong written oral and electronic communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse racial cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Familiarity with key neighborhoods in which PPL properties are located
Education and/or Experience
- At least 1-3 years of experience in safety and security
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Military or law enforcement training/experience preferred
- Valid Drivers license
Salary/Hours:Full Time/Non-Exempt:$25-$28 per hour/ M-F (Weekend and evening hours may be required on occasion)
