Job Summary
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Mountain City TN. As a caregiver you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping duties
- Monitor and report changes in clients health status to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure client safety and wellbeing at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Mountain City TN
- Must pass background checks and complete any required training
