Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Senior Payloads Analyst. In this role you will support the Targets and Countermeasures Program Office by delivering integrated technical and programmatic guidance to Targets Program Managers and Chief Engineers. You will provide expert technical support in monitoring and evaluating the performance of MDA prime contractors and target providers to ensure their products and activities meet program requirements. This position also plays a key role in planning organizing coordinating and executing target-related technical program activities.
Duties of a Senior Payloads Analyst may include:
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for theMissile DefenseAgencysTargets Program Office providing comprehensive support in the design and analysis of payloads and countermeasures.
- Overseeing the development of payload and countermeasure requirements; conducting independent assessments of prime contractor designs; and delivering technical reviews and recommendations on design and development artifacts such as reports analyses and procedures.
- Provide detailed technical evaluations of target instrumentationincluding requirements layout instrumentation types and test methodologiesand support the Program Office across all major program reviews including SRR PDR CDR TRR FRB MRB PAR System Pedigree Review Total Program Reviews and all related TIMs.
- Support Technical Team requests by supplying design data such as CAD models materials and hardware for signature testing and model development. Collaborate with the program scheduler to ensure delivery milestones are met and keep the Program Manager informed of progress. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate technical information to the non-technical members of the program office to support programmatic mission.
- Canwork independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and have the individual flexibility to work multiple actions simultaneously and resolve time-sensitive issues.
- Strong communicationskills include oral written and briefing.
- Demonstrated capabilities and experience in missile systems technical program planningtestand execution.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Understanding of IR/RCS signatures of payloads and countermeasures.
- Experience with material properties and material property measurements.
- Knowledge of ADP threat systems and how those impact target designs.
- Have an understanding ofMDA MDS flight test requirements and apply that to the payload hardware development.
- Technical proposal development and evaluation.
Education
- Masters degree and 12 years working on payloads or countermeasures for DoD programs or aBachelorsdegree and 20 years working on payloads or countermeasures for DoD programs.
Clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
