Founded in 2019 Brite Payments is a Swedish fintech and a leader in Instant Account-to-Account (A2A) payments. With connections to over 3800 banks Brite enables consumers to pay directly from their bank account (also known as Pay by Bank) in real-time.

What you will do

You will work closely with our Head of Legal to provide broad legal support across the organization. This is a generalist role with a focus on fintech where you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise in:

Regulatory Support: Assisting in defining Brites approach to evolving regulations like PSD3/PSR the AI Act and DORA. Youll collaborate with Compliance and Procurement to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Commercial Agreements: Drafting reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements (Merchant/Partner Agreements and NDAs). Youll help us maintain our legal templates and build out our Contract Playbook.

Privacy & Data Protection: Supporting our internal privacy processes (DPIAs LIAs) and providing guidance to Product and Support teams on data matters.

Operational Legal Input: Working with Marketing Procurement and Customer Support to develop smooth internal processes and review external communications.

Corporate & IP: Helping protect Brites assets including managing domain portfolios and trademark watch activities.

Legal Tech & AI: Helping us define how we use AI within the legal functionfrom identifying regulatory requirements to training our internal AI assistants and legal knowledge base.

Experience: 35 years of professional legal experience. We value a diverse background and a can-do attitude over niche specialization in every area mentioned above.

Language: Fluency in Swedish and English is required. German is a plus.

Mindset: You have a business-focused approach and are proactive about finding solutions. You dont need to be an AI expert yet but you should be curious about how technology is changing the legal profession.

Profile: You are eager to master a broad mandate moving from academic knowledge to practical hands-on impact in a structured but fast-paced FinTech.

Are you a Brite Mind

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Diverse experience is valued.

Location: Stockholm Sweden based. This is primarily an on-site role with flexibility for 1-2 days of remote work per week.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory. German language skills are considered an asset.

Skills: High analytical capabilities a pronounced business-focused mindset and a proactive approach to finding solutions. Experience with or interest in leveraging AI in legal practice is beneficial.
